Wake Up is curated to a young adult audience, features a chatty intro, and highlights scientific and arts & culture stories in addition to breaking news.
She also produces Morning Edition. Each day, she selects the local stories North Texans need to hear, writes news copy and voices stories.
Katherine also reports on science & the environment, breaking news and contributes crisis coverage.
No two days look the same and that’s just the way she likes it.

Morning Edition
Katherine produces four hours of live coverage each morning from 5 AM to 9 AM. During this time, she produces seven live newscasts, writes news copy and voices stories. Katherine is KERA’s fill-in Morning Edition newscaster.
